Importance of Prayer as Our Foundation
The third of six of our CEF Cultural Points exhorts us to pray and the importance of it.
It is not the work, we do, the meetings we hold or the decisions we make that bring the greatest advances in the work; it is the time spent before the throne of God in prayer, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that brings power, laborers and resources into the ministry.

Jeff Nichols
Jeff Nichols serves as Vice President of USA Ministries for Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). Jeff was previously the State Director of CEF Tennessee for four years before joining CEF USA Ministries as Vice President. He has been in ministry for almost 40 years, having served churches in Oklahoma, Missouri, and Tennessee. Most recently, he served at The Donelson Fellowship in Nashville for over 25 years.
Jeff received a Christian Education degree from Welch College and a master’s degree in business from Trevecca Nazarene University. Jeff and his wife, Debbie, live near Nashville, TN and have two daughters and three grandchildren.
