Here in West Virginia, not only are the seasons merging and changing, but so is our seasonal ministry focus. As the school year is finishing up for another year, our Good News Club / Jr. Youth Challenge ministries are concluding and merging with summer ministries. You may know, our summers are busy with training summer missionaries in our Christian Youth In Action (CYIA) program. These summer missionaries are trained to conduct 5-Day Club and VBS ministries.
Will you join us in praying that God will, "Shew thee (us) great and mighty things, which thou knowest not" over West Virginia this summer? In reference to the verse above, Jeremiah 33:2-3, CEF WV is looking forward to seeing what God has in store for us.
*}*, will you join us in thanking God for what He has done these past "89 years" of CEF and join us in prayer for what we are trusting God to continue to do? Your prayers are needed and much appreciated! May the following Praise and Prayers serve as a guide in prayer. THANK YOU!

Will you join us in thanking God for His ministry opportunities and CEF WV state and chapter leadership? You will find that this month we are featuring our summer ministry opportunity called 5-Day Club. You will also find praises and prayer requests for our Kanawha Chapter Ministry. We are rejoicing in what God is doing through the Kanawha volunteers as they are reaching the children in their chapter!
This month we are focusing on our CEF Cultural Point, "Importance of Clear and Biblical Presentation of the Gospel". Will you pray Romans 1:16 over each of our state and chapter leadership and volunteers? Pray that each of us will unashamedly share the Gospel because it is the power of God that brings salvation to the children and their families.

What is a 5-Day Club?
Some may know the 5-Day Club ministry by the past title of Backyard Bible Clubs. 5-Day Club is an exciting, fun-filled club each day for five consecutive days. It includes: dynamic Bible lessons, creative learning activities, inspiring missionary stories, meaningful songs, and life-changing Scripture memorization.
Where is a 5-Day Club held?
The 5-Day Club has been traditionally held in prescreened neighborhood homes that care about the spiritual needs of today's children. In recent years, the 5-Day Club ministry has been welcomed in community centers, community housing, daycares, and other prescreened and safe places where children live.
For more information about a 5-Day Club, or hosting a 5-Day Club, please contact your local office or the state office at 304.840.7015
