Back-2-School here in CEF West Virginia means calling for prayer warriors to join us in praying for the children of West Virginia as they return to school! Also, pray with us as we are training and gearing up for Good News Club and Jr. Youth Challenge ministries for this school year.
Will you join us "early" in prayer, longing to see God's power and glory for this school year? Each time you see a school bus or pass by a community school, will you pause and pray for the children and families in that community? Will you pray for the schoolteachers and staff that teach the children? Will you pray for the Good News Club® / Jr. Youth Challenge® teams that take the Gospel to the children in that community? If there isn't a team there, will you pray God will raise up a church and team to be a missionary impact in that neighborhood?

…using His chosen 19 summer CYIA™ missionaries and 5-Day Club®/VBS hosts to reach children around the state.
…Go and Tell training in one of our chapters that had 11 middle schoolers who worked hard and were very excited about the apologetics of the Gospel. Not only did they learn the core truths of the Gospel, but how to share it with their friends.
…God's leading and working in the 3,751 children who have been enrolled in one of our 111 CEF WV ministries since September 1, 2025. We rejoice with the 245 children who have professed receiving Jesus. Thank you to our 941 volunteers who are reaching the children of CEF WV!

Will you join us in thanking God for His ministry opportunities and CEF WV state and chapter leadership? You will find that this month we are featuring our "school year" ministry opportunities called Good News Club ministry to elementary school age children. Pray God will raise up volunteers, teachers and locations for Good News Club ministries this school year.
You will also find a list of our State Board Members and State and Local Staff. We are rejoicing in what God is doing through each board member and staff as they are used of God to make reaching the children in WV possible!
This month we are focusing on our CEF Cultural Point, "Importance of the Spiritual Welfare of our Workers". Will you pray Psalm 42:1 over each of our state and chapter leadership and volunteers? Pray that each one of us will long for our God as a deer longs for streams of water. More than the enticements of the world and selfish desires. Pray that we keep our focus on God and on His calling, so He will sustain us in time of challenge. Pray that we will be men and women who are primarily driven by passion for God and His glory and have a clear call from the Lord, so His work will prosper.

The Good News Club is the core ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in which trained teachers meet with groups of children in schools, homes, community centers, churches, apartment complexes—just about anywhere the children can easily and safely meet with their parent's permission. Each week the teacher presents an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials. This action-packed time also includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions story and review games or other activities focused on the lesson's theme.
Each club includes a clear presentation of the Gospel and an opportunity for children to trust Jesus as Savior. Every club also includes strong discipleship training to build character and strengthen moral and spiritual growth. All children are encouraged to attend a local church.
