Child Evangelism Fellowship® is a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.

CEF® has many different ministries for children, but the primary ones are the Good News Club® and the 5-Day Club®.

The Good News Club® and 5-Day Club® ministries take place in neighborhood settings such as homes, backyards, schools and community centers all over the world. These fast-paced, one-hour programs are designed to bring the Gospel of Christ to children on their level in their environment.

Have you ever heard of something going full circle? During a family Bible Conference, Mrs. June Fisher taught a Bible Lesson about King Ahab to a room full of children. I was one of the five-year-olds in that class and on a July summer morning, I clearly remember realizing that I had done wrong things and need Jesus to forgive me and rescue me from sin. After He gave His life blood for me, He was placed in a tomb and began to breathe again on the third day. I’m thankful for knowing that He will come again.

This began my spiritual relationship and life with Christ. I was exposed to CEF through June Fisher and many other Bible teachers in my life. As a student at Appalachian Bible College, I was able to take cutting-edge children ministry classes through CEF. Upon graduating from college, I became an elementary school teacher for 10 years. During those years I had a growing burden for children and their need of the Savior just like I did at a young age.

In 2006, God called me to serve Him as full-time missionary with CEF. I began this ministry as a teacher trainer and continued to become more exposed to the vast international opportunities offered through this world leading children’s ministry. January 2014, God led me to become the New River Area Chapter director. It was in November 2022, God moved me to become the CEF of WV State Director.

It isn’t about title or position, but the joy to serving the children of West Virginia! Because of so many people who invested Christ into me at a young age, I feel such a burden for children of today. Many of those people were trained by CEF and now God has brought me full circle to do the same. God’s blessings upon the children! ~ Matthew 18:14
